Primary School Experience Programme 2020

The School Experience Programme is for potential SCITT trainees to gain experience in a classroom setting, observing lessons and speaking with the faculty regarding our teacher training programme.

Many of our Trust Primary schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire are available to host candidates. A school experience day will run from 8:30am until 3:30pm and include a chance to partake in tutor time, observe a full day of lessons and meet the faculty. We require a DBS check if you are attending multiple visits but it is not essential for your initial visit.

Who is it for?

Our school experience offer for Primary is for candidates who have an interest in training to become a teacher with our SCITT and are obtaining/ have obtained an honours degree.
